SUMMARY : /var/spool/mail NFS mounted

Everyone told me it's safe to mount /var/spool/mail via NFS.
Or as safe as lockd is... Which doesn't seem to be true! (why?)

You just have to be careful that your mail will be delivered
only once in your mailbox:
1- you can have aliases or .forward files;
2- you can modify sendmail.cf to redirect the mail to an unique host;
3- or you can rely on the sendmail Sun introduced with SunOS 4.0: this
  version looks if /var/spool/mail is NFS mounted, and in this case
  automatically redirect your mail to the host where the files are.
  So the job described in 1- or 2- is already done.
