NON-SUMMARY: PC NFS

Everyone always complains about inappropriate questions; This is non-summary
since all I'm getting are inappropriate answers.
I asked the following:

>Recently I moved some of the directories to a SPARC system -
>SunOS 4.1.1 - but I can't seem to get the directories to mount
>on the PCs anymore.
>
>I've compiled and installed pcnfsd, but something still appears to
>be missing. Does anyone have a checklist for this process?
>
>OS 4.1.1
>NIS
>DNS
>C2
>
>PCs are using FTP Software's stuff.

i.e., I asked for a checklist. Most of the responses I've gotten want to
know if I put the dirs in /etc/exports and run exportfs.
Nothing close to a check list has appeared; no one for example has even
mentioned /etc/rpc or /etc/inetd.conf - ; one person chastised me for
putting the '-' in pcnfs; another wants the answer when I get it.
