Summary: /dev/kvm permission denied for ps?

Thanks to Kari Hurtta, Jeremy Lawrence, Martine Buegman, Brian Fitzgerald and
those who responded. The problem solved by change ps to setgid kmem:

chmod g+s /usr/kvm/ps

The puzzle remains why the permission field has been changed. Some people
suggested that the system might have a new kernel but hasn't been rebooted
yet. Actually, we haven't touched the kernel since last December.
