Under HP-UX any number of instances of 2) and/or 3) would count as a single
user.

Perhaps not coincidently, Sun doesn't seem to like X terminals and doesn't
sell them; on the other hand, Hewlett-Packard is a leading X terminal vendor
and sells them quite successfully. :-)
