SUMMARY: what does sendmail error msg mean

Hello.

Thanks for your replies. The reason for this message was that our
hosts aren't connected to world during the attempt to deliver a mail.
So sendmail creates a lot of child processes until it couldn't fork
another child process anymore.

Here is my original query:

/ ------------------------------------------/
Hello.
A user has received following error message:

Mar 19 12:35:59 ophelia sendmail[18318]: NOQUEUE: SYSERR: Out of
memory!!: Not enough memory

What does this mean?

Host ophelia mounts /var/spool/mail from our mailhost. These hosts
are running sunos 4.1.2

Thanks and i will summarize.

Wolfgang
