PATCH # 101318-42 BREAKS TRUSS!!!!!!!!!
PATCH # 101318-45 FIXES TRUSS BUT... IT BREAKS SYSLOGD!!!!!!!!!!!
[Additional information not included in my last summary:]
It seems that the problem arises only on loghost machines. Perhaps the
loghost's syslogd dies when another machine tries sending a log message
to the loghost.
A possible solution (the one I'm using) is to get back an old syslogd, until
the next release of patch #101318 (what will it break? :-( ).

Hi, gurus!
We have a strange problem with syslogd. It starts without problems, but then
it dies few minutes later. No symptoms, no messages. I have not made any
changes to syslog.conf, and until the last week syslogd ran smoothly.
The main change in our system was the application of patch # 101318-45.
We have these patches installed:
