Sorry for the late SUMMARY,
The message "Waiting for queue to be enable .." appear because
I put the "rp=/dev/term/a" and the solution is "rp=lr".
("rp" refer to Remote Printer).
Then I make sure that the Print Server is setup to listen for BSD
requests (since CONVEX OS is BSD) by using below command:
Yserver# pmadm -l -p tcp
PMTAG PMTYPE SVCTAG FLGS ID <PMSPECIFIC>
tcp listen lp - root - - p - /var/spool/lp/fifos/listenS5 #
tcp listen ===>lpd - root \x00020203000000000000000000000000 - p - /var/spool/lp/fifos/listenBSD #
tcp listen 0 - root \x00020ACE000000000000000000000000 - c - /usr/lib/saf/nlps_server #
Then define the CONVEX machine on my Print Server:
Yserver# lpsystem -t bsd CONVEX_HOSTNAME
Then I restart the printer service on both machine.
RESULT: it queue the print request in CONVEX and then send
it to the Print Server (server Y), printer status at
CONVEX is "Sending to Y.ism.my".
Means it works.
Although when I check the status at Print Server,
I didn't see that print request is being queued,
at least now I know that the print request is
safely queue and sending to Y.ism.my at CONVEX.
