Oh, ho ho. Such timing. A UK paper (The Guardian) printed the address of
just such a list last Thursday, and I have the paper here beside me, so
that I can subscribe to it.

"Mosaic-L is a new list sever for users and software developers
of NCSA Mosaic, a popular browser for the World-Wide Wedb. To
        subscribe, e-mail the message
        Subscribe MOSAIC-L Your Name
to listerv@uicvm.uic.edu, leaving the subject line blank."

Have a look at comp.infosystems.www This is WWW-related news group, but I think It's good place to start.

I am interested in knowing what the programmer is doing with Mosaic. If he wants to exchanges experiences, please tell me to send a mail to me explaining what is he doing.

Regards,

All you have to do is send the command "lists global" in the body of a message to the address "listserv@vtvm1.cc.vt.edu"

You will then receive a quite extensive list of all of the lists that listserv knows about (which is quite extensive).

Lori,

There is a www-proxy group, and a socks group that talk about mosaic a lot. Maybe they would know of a mosaic group. To subscribe for the www-proxy group : email to : listproc@info.cern.ch with "subscribe" in the body. The www-proxy list is from the cern site, and probably the best resouce for a mosaic mailing list. To join the SOCKS mailing list, send email to majordomo@syl.dl.nec.com with "subscribe socks your@email.address" in the body. The socks group will be more security minded and less mosaic minded.

If you have net news, there are newsgroups : comp.infosystems.www.misc, comp.infosystems.www.providers, and comp.infosystems.www.users.

A compilation of public Internet e-mail lists (courtesy of Stephanie da Silva) can be obtained from ftp.cs.columbia.edu:/archives/mirror3/faq/news/answers/mail/mailing-lists. or rtfm.mit.edu:/pub/usenet/news.answers/mail/mailing-lists. As the name implies, RTFM at MIT is a good place to go with these type of questions.

I'm not aware of a Mosaic list at this time.

Try web-support@mailbase.ac.uk. (the proper incantations are 'join web-support username', mailed to mailbase@mailbase.ac.uk)
