I got a few answers, and also called sun.

Sun suggested:

ufsdump 0bf 96 /dev/rmt/0mn /

It seems kinda minimal, but sun claimed that ufsdump would figure out the
tape size and all. It seems to work, but I'm kinda sceptical.

david@dgi.com suggested:
        /usr/etc/dump 0udsbf 54000 6000 126 /dev/rst0 /dev/sd2g

Thanks all!
