SUMMARY: xlock on solaris 2.4 slows the machine down

Thank you everyone for the reply, the consensus was that xlock uses some
pretty intense graphic algorithms for drawing the screens which slow the
machine down, among the solutions suggested were nicing xlock down, calling
it with -delay 30000 etc, but what really worked for me was calling
"xlock -mode blank" which consumes no cpu at all.
