Yesterday I asked how I could find out which process or processes were
casuing the Device Busy messages we were getting when trying to unmount our
CDROM .

The answers were as usual,
correct and to the point.

There are 2 ways:

1) Use fuser, which is on every Sun machine (man fuser)
2) Use the PD program lsof
     from vic.cc.purdue.edu in pub/tools/unix/lsof

The latter is preferred.

Thanks to all who replied
(the list of thanks to would be much longer than the answer, but ypou know
who you are)
