Thanks for the quick answer. This one probably takes care of it. After
spending a good part of the afternoon trying to reach archives where I
could find this information for myself I asked this list and, as
expected, got a quick and helpful reply.

Sure, no problem; here's the release announcement for the latest version of sudo from the home of sudo, CU. Looks like it builds on darn near every platform that any of us care about...
