Hello!
        My original question:
How can I configure NIS environment (SunOS) if the NIS server is placed
in one subnet and clients are connected in another subnet ?

Answer: on the client, explicitly bind it to a server on the other subnet.
        How make that:

                - modify the ypbind line in /etc/rc.local:

                        ypbind -ypset

                - after that, insert a call to ypset:

                        /usr/etc/yp/ypset 129.10.4.5

I receive many responses. Thanks to all people who answer.
