I asked if it was still necessary to use the NISKIT to have a Solaris
box be a NIS server as I thought it was included in 2.5. Well, it is still
necessary but it is included i.e. the Solaris 2.5 server pack includes a CD
called Server Supplement 1.0 which includes Naming Services Transition Kit 1.2
which is sitting on my desk as I hunt and peck. Thanks to

Casper Dik
Brett Lymn
Michael Neef

and to any responders after this summary (which goes out about 45 minutes after
the original query !)

Kindest regards,

Niall O Broin
