Long long time ago some people, including my self, queried the list about
printing from Solaris to NT based postscript printers. Since i didn't see
any summary by then here it goes the info:
all you need is to configure the Content Type for your printer as "raster"
example configuration:
oberon ~> cat /etc/lp/printers/LaserJet/configuration
Content types: raster
Printer type: unknown
Remote: nt-host!NetQueue
oberon ~> cat /etc/lp/filter.table
:any:any:postscript:ps:raster:postscript:/usr/bin/cat:
:any:any:simple:ps:raster:postscript:/usr/lib/lp/postscript/postprint:
the filter table will allow you to print without specifing any flag to lp
simple, isn't it ?
