My original problem is one of our IPC workstation can't boot and it give the
following error message" SCSI device not responding".

Many suggested me checking ths SCSI cables and termination. Some asked to use
probe-scsi command at ok prompt.I double checked the cables and it's OK.When
I used probe-scsi command at ok prompt,it can't detect the internal drive.

I phoned SUN technical service and asked them to replace the internal
drive for me, everything seems ok now.

Thanks a lot to those who responded.
