SUMMARY: Ultra II & reaching the network!!

THanks for all the quick responses!! There were way too many to list
individually. Most everyone said hme0 & most of you told me to run ifconfig
-a, which is what I did first!! I also checked dmesg as was recommended prior
to sending off my plea & nothing showed up there. After I sent my plea to this
group I carefully went thru /var/adm/messages & saw hme0 & wondered if that was
the correct name (but by then I'd already stayed way too late & I went home!)

However, creating the file /etc/hostname.hme0 did not work!!! (ok it partially
worked as the hub now displayed a green lite for this workstation). I received
2 responses that were not just ifconfig -a, nor hme0. They were from:

Rick Fincher <rnf@spitfire.tbird.com>, who suggested I change the tpe-link-test
in the prom. I did & that didn't work (I've included his detailed response as
this may help someone in the future).

Then Anthony Worrall <Anthony.Worrall@reading.ac.uk> from the UK suggested I
run sys-unconfig & then make sure it's configured as a networked machine. I
finally did this & viola!! I'm connected!! So Anthony had the correct
answer!!!!!

His msg follows, then Ricks & finally my original question:
