thanks to all who responded! what I ended up doing is just getting a
doc off sunsolve and I also refered to chp. 2 in the O'Reilly NIS/NFS
book and I believe I'm all set now. Once I get NIS up and running, I'll
write a small FAQ on it. I'll email it to the list so you guys can add
to it or make corrections. Again, thanks a bunch.
