SUMMARY: how to list all possible automounts?

One week ago, I asked:

| [...] what is the easiest way to find out all possible
| automounts? What I really want is a command
|
| automount -l
|
| that, instead of trying to mount/unmount filesystems in its table,
| simply outputs all the mounts it could possibly make. To my surprise,
| automount lacks such an -l switch. (The relevant platform is Solaris
| 2.5.1 and up.)

[...]

| Am I overlooking a simple trick? Is there existing software to do this?
| A quick script is easy enough to write, but I'd prefer something more
| reliable.

Thanks to the two people who responded. They both suggest to write
a Perl script, which is what I'll probably do.
