SUMMARY: cde and openwin

The solution was to load patches:
103566-35
105789-02
105790-07
this solved the problem-most people suggested a problem with .dt files or library path, but this was not the case as I suspected it was an Xserver(Xsun) problem
and searching Suns site provided the patches.
Thanks to the following people for their suggestions:

>screen, but am unable to launch either cde or openwin as root or a regular
>users, it seems to start then blacks out and goes back to the cde login
>screen, I have checked permissions etc. Os is solaris 2.5.1 hardware 11/97
>with all recommended patches. Any ideas?
