Hi,

The Answer is 9.1/18.2GB disks are not supported on SSA
model 100. The maximum supported disk is 4.2GB.

I received three responses from Sun-mangers. (And also received
a reply from Paul Mazzola, Sun SE. He confirmed that 9.1/18.2GB
are not supported on SSA model 100).

Thanks to the following Sun-managers:

1) "Brooke King (6532)" <jbking@sandia.gov>

>The spec sheet is correct.

2) Wolf Schaefer <schaefer@wolfe.llnl.gov>

>I too have a SparcStorage Array 100. I'm told by sun
>that it will only support 2 and 4GB drives.

3) virginia.coffindaffer@wang.com

>All SSAs have been discontinued by Sun. The 2.1 GB disks are also
>discontinued. You can still get the 4.2 GB disks from Sun. The replacement
>arrays are either the A5000 array or the A3500 array which are fiber channel
>all the way to the disk and REALLY hot pluggable. The old SSAs were not hot
>pluggable.
