Solaris 2.0 System Transition Guide for Applicatin Developers, SunSoft

I WOULD BE GREAT to find these or similar books on THE NET ON
Postcrip(ps) or .PDF FORMATS!!! HECK, I WOULD BE GREAT TO FIND ANY FREE
.PS .PDF UNIX/COMPUTER BOOKS on THE NET! The only ones I ever found
(that were any good) was the tcl/tk books from:

"We also have Brent Welch's Practical Programming in Tcl and Tk
available in Postscript format (5.6MB). We have collected the source
for John Ousterhout's book Tcl and the Tk Toolkit in five parts."

>From David Evans:
There are no direct mappings for these commands. They don't map to the
BSD paradigm very well. For a description of hardware I'd go for sysinfo
(from ftp://usc.edu:/pub/sysinfo). prtconf will do most of what you want
probably.

Yes. For those who asked Madhu and I work for the same company. We
even work on the same building... with 90,000 employees that's kind of
interesting.

ps. If you do know about .PDF and .PS computer books on the net... sned
me an E-mail.

\Original Question:

I searched the SunAdmin archives and didn't find what I
was
              looking for.
I also checked at SUN's site for a command reference and
found
some...however, they were not exactly what I was looking
for:

http://www.sun.com/smcc/solaris-migration/docs/transition-guide_2.5/apx_a-tbl.html

http://www.sun.com/smcc/solaris-migration/docs/transition-guide_2.5/TOC.html

http://sunkist.physik.uni-frankfurt.de/sunkist/manquery.html
              http://www.eng.fsu.edu/man/

I find that we have a great number of Sparc systems that
are
              still
running SunOS 4x. We are trying to consolidate those
boxes onto
              a 10000
server under Sol(2.6/2.7)... Anyhow, a good poscript or
.pdf
              manual on
SunOs 4x command reference would be great. A comparison
manual
              of SunOs
4x to Solaris 2x would be best.

In the meantime I am looking for a referece to get the
              equivalent SunOS
commands for the following Solaris 2.x commands:

              Solaris SunOS
