SUMMARY E1000 and 9GB disk

Hello,
Thanks to all who replied on this one. The concencus is that the
E1000 should be able to boot of a 9Gb disk. I have been advised to
keep / below the 2G point though.
I would like to experiment and see if the machine will boot with /
bigger than 2G, but being a production machine, I'm not going to be able
to do this really, with downtime being an issue.
