The recommended tool is PGP which can be found at http://www.pgpi.com/

This package supports Unix, windows and Mac so the data file can be used in
various platforms.

Here is the original question:

To All Helpers:

Platform is Solaris 2.6 running on Ultra Enterprise II.

I have tried out the crypt command and it works. But what I like to know
is how other people encrypt and decrypt their text data file and how crypt
command works with other system such as Windows NT beside the Solaris.
