Thank you for the answer. Almost all the answers point to
/etc/inetd.conf. I need uncomment this entry.
#bootps dgram udp wait root /usr/sbin/bootpd bootpd
This line gets added to inetd when you install HP JetAdmin for JetDirect
printers.
After uncomment I use "kill -HUP <inet PID>" tried to re-initialize the
inetd
service. It did NOT fix this problem. I need "reboot" to finally fix the
problem. I have been tried this on our three SUN SPARC computers (Solaris
2.6). It all the same I need reboot to make it work. I don't know why?
