Thanks! to everyone who replied to my question on how to tar root slice
when I can not use ufsdump command due to bad or corrupted label on
root slice.

However, the command I used to tar root file system was:

# find / -mount -print | cpio -ocv > /tmp/root.tar

And it works great as I expect it.

Hello all,

Is anyone know the command to do a tar of root (/) filesystem, just on
root
slice or partition (/dev/rdsk/c0t3d0s0), but not anything else.

Regards,
