The script seems to work OK, but we didn't use it, preferring to
instead to do the job manually.

The job went successfully however the SS1000 decided to reassign all
the SCSI controller ID's and broke our Disksuite setup.
That is my next question!

Original question is below.....

Hi,

I found some info on the Sun Managers web site on moving a boot disk
to a different controller, but the info didn't seem to work properly
for the procedure on my S1000.

Does someone have a set procedure for doing this?

My goal is to move the boot disk off c0t0 and onto another external
controller (c2t0) that has a much larger disk attached.

The directions I followed were based on the following which fails to mention
editing /etc/vfstab:

Excuse the nature of the link above, but that's where it is!

I know the topic of the above link mentions an SSA, but it should work
just the same with a standard setup?

thanks!
rachel
