SUMMARY: rsh issue

Thanks to the 3000 responses I received. I found out that /etc/hosts needs
to have
the following in it in order for the R services to work:

IP Address hostname FQDN

I added the FQDN and it seems to have fixed the problem. I
did not read anything like this in the rlogin, rsh or cmd
man pages which I read many many times along the way. I had
IP Address hostname and it needs the FQDN after that in my
case.
