Thanks to:

Steve Turgeon
Vern Walls

for there help. The consensus is that the machine can be patched
by simply taking the machine to single user mode and running the
install_cluster script.

Thanks again,

Ryan

Original Post:
Hello folks, I wanted to apply the Y2K and recommended patch cluster set but
we are using Veritas VM with our volumes and UFS on our FS's. I was told by
my AS5000 instructor that patching these systems would corrupt the Volumes
and wanted to know what I need to do to apply the patches w/o losing what I
have.
I have included my df -k output [1], which shows all of our related FS's are
under
VM control.

Thanks for any info on how I can patch the system as I want to get
everything
up to date. Also we are using UFS and not VXFS, but we do have VXFS on
a few other boxes I have to patch.

Thanks for any info,

Ryan
