[SUMMARY] Directory entries lost over NFS mount from SGI server

Problem was that when directories mounted from SGI servers had over 172 files,
the files do not show up when mounted onto our Solaris 2.6 systems.

Quick solution came from Mark Olson, thanks Mark! This solution in fact works.
I am reporting this as a bug anyway, as we don't want to revert to NFS 2. The
Sun patch that seems relevant to this issue (see original question below) is
in fact installed, so this hasn't been fixed.

I would try forcing NFS version 2, maybe then you won't have the problem?

Here is an automounter map entry where the vers=2 option is used, I have
problems automounting some HP-UX user's home directories on our Suns.

    markm -vers=2,rw,intr barney:/vol3/users/markm

    HTH,
    Mark
