Thanks for the numerous replies! There were too many to list the names.

All the replies were essentially the same, that the change should be made in the
inetd.conf. I thought that was the proper way to handle it, but I wanted to get
some real-world insight. Thanks also, for the many web links that were provided.
They will be very useful.
