Sorry for the delay on the reply; it seems there are no
problems doing this.

Original question was:

  I have a customer who has Veritas Volume Manager installed.
  The packages are therefore VRTSvxvm etc - I want to patch
  these and bring them into using the Sun versions, so it
  would appear the obvious thing is to remove the packages
  and replace them with SUNWvxvm etc - but are there any
  gotchas?
