Problem resolved - Thanks to:

The problem was related to the SCSI connection to our STK 9710 tape silo.
As suggested by George, I disconnected all SCSI devices and reconnected
them one by one until the culprit was uncovered.

Thanks again,

Dona

Hi All -

We have a SPARC20 that we use as a test box. I haven't used it in a few
weeks, now it won't boot. I'm stumped.

The memory checks ok, then I get the following:

Boot device: /iommu/sbus/espdma@f,400000/esp@f,800000/sd@3,0

The messages above repeat continually until I do a stop a
Stop d does not work
probe-scsi comes back okay
probe-scsi-all hangs
test-memory comes back with no errors
cannot boot from cd_rom either

I'm new to the SPARC/Sun enviroment.
I've looked through the archives and throughout Sun's website, but can't
find anything to help.

Any ideas?

TIA

Dona
