Hello All,
One of our apps logs the following error:
Tue Jun 6 16:28:06 2000 write would block to socket 26
Tue Jun 6 16:28:06 2000 dropping connection to client at 140.1.1.40:34363
I looked around on Sun's web site to gather some socket information but
didn't find much. Can anyone recommend a good info doc on sockets? Has
anyone seen this error before and is it a real problem. Is the dropped
connection reestablished seamlessly on another socket? What is the max.
number of sockets (Ultra 1 running solaris 2.6) and is it changeable?
I looked at our network stats (netstat -s, netstat -i) and there doesn't
seem to be any signs of a slow network...
Any insight is greatly appreciated!
thanks,
