SUMMARY:- Measure network bandwidth usage

Hi,

Thanks for the responses.

Most people suggested mrtg - which I was already using. I was suggested orca
-
which is better than mrtg for system stats.

But orca and mrtg are really only good for trends - not benchmarking.

I was suggested "You can reference some tools offer from www.infovista.com"
which
looked like a commercial version of mrtg

The other option suggested was snoop and netstat - which I knew about and
will take
a bit of work to get some data.

The only other suggestion was bing a point to point bandwidth measurement
tool - which
is kind of what I wanted, but it looks pretty old.

Thanks for the replies

Geoff
