The consensus seems to be that:

The A1000 has two SCSI interfaces, so you can connect two systems
simultaneously, but they cannot share volumes, and the host computers must
have different initiator IDs. This situation is unsupported by Sun unless
you're using Sun Clustering software. It can be used in this situation as
failover, but care must be taken that both systems do not try to access the
same volume, or corruption will result.
