To reiterate, I needed the specs for an IBM DPSS-309170 for a SPARCstation5 running SunOS 4.1.4.

a month basis).

I had done all this but still did not have the correct data and IBM had not
yet responded and I wanted to wait for an official version before using scsiinfo.
However, I got tired of waiting. So, using scsiinfo data and the label on the
drive as it arrived, I came up with the following for the format.dat and it works fine.

I finally received the IBM version but I think it is wrong as it specifies 4 heads and
all the literature, scsiinfo and the drive label itself specifies 3 heads. But if any doubt,
here is the IBM official version.
