Thanks to all who replied.

The solution was to re-program the NVRAM, as explained in the FAQ about
NVRAM-HostId which can be found at:
 http://www.squirrel.com/sun-nvram-hostid.faq.html

The station is up and running again.

Not sure why, but it seems the temporarily berserk keyboard told the NVRAM to
wipe itself clean. After re-programming it, it seems to be back to normal,
even after power-cycling (and removing the mains for some minutes).

Thanks again.

Cheers,
					Christian
