I am not going to do it just yet, unless the application folks need it. At
that time I would be undertaking the complete upgrade procedure again.

The quick way of doing it is to add the 64 bit packages by hand, but I am
not 
sure about the Veritas Volume Manager side. I did the same when upgrading to

Solaris 7 myself and Sun just told me to add all packages with the x
(64-bit) at 
the end.
