The bug in question is a problem where the system doesn't completely flush
the
writeback cache on the IDE disks in Ultra-5/10 before powering the machine
off.

It seems that only an upgrade can fix the problem.

Original question follows:

Hello,

searching sunsolve I have found the bug id 4380416 with
Synopsis : init 5 corrupts filesystems on ultra-10 440MHz on 2.5.1 systems

Is there any relationship between init 5 command and corrupted filesystems?
