SUMMARY: RE:mounting a disk error

Hi Group,

     I attempted to save the bad block by issuing the following commands below:

1.) newfs -N /dev/dsk/c1t1d0s0
2.)  fsck -o b=303496 /dev/dsk/c1t1dos0
3.)  mount /dev/dsk/c1t1d0s0 /admin = still would not mount

***     In the end I had to wipe disk out and restore from a backup  ***

4.) newfs /dev/rdsk/c1t1d0s0
5.) mount /dev/dsk/c1t1d0s0 /admin    = worked
6.) restoring files back to disk
