SUMMARY: solaris 9 cd and short read at boot time

Howdy,

Thanks to those who responded to this question (see below). I tried the cd
on a different u5 and IT BOOTED!!!!! AND installed...

It's strange to NOT have openwin any more so I copied /usr/openwin from my
2.8 system and it works fine. Get your free copy from sun today... I DO NOT
WORK FOR SUN.
