Managers, I did get quite a few responses suggesting that the problem is memory/hardware problems. It seems as though 192 MB's of RAM is quite a bit for a PC, but for an ultra running solaris, 192 really isn't that much. My original question was that with an Ultra-1 with 192MB of ram running solaris 8 with netscape 6.2 and staroffice 6.0, staroffice kept hanging everytime I started it. The only way to close the window was to kill the process.
