thanks for all responses:
Alan Pae <turonaeda@yahoo.com>
Alex Stade <alex@trdlnk.com>
"Josh N/A" <endlessvortex@hotmail.com>
and Richard Teer from Rite Group

all says i have to recreate file /etc/nodename, so i do, but i want to
understand why it was nowhere. Perhaps this i s because i use
sys-unconfig to swith betwwen dhcp and statis ip?

josh gives me this doc, very interesting:
 > I would suggest creating /etc/nodename and putting the hostname of the

sure why

my original post:

dhcp.

 >/etc/nodename. But when using dhcp, solaris don't create this file. So
i do
