LDAP: (Preferable) The OpenLDAP server seems to be the clear winner here. NIS: (Decent) Ok but old. Possible to hide encrypted passwords. NIS+: (AVOID) Works fine once configured but is an administration nightmare. Sun may not support in the future. Chris L.
