Subject: log in as root using ssh

The following entry in the /etc/default/login file has been uncommented:
CONSOLE=/dev/console

However, I can still log in as root using ssh. This is on a 280R running
Solaris 8. Any ideas why this could be?

Thanks in advance for your time.
