Hi agn,

sorry for the late summary, was a little bit busy yesterday.
First of all, thanks to Graeme Elsworthy, for his qick answer that this
could be a SUN bug.
Well, I had opened a case at SUN support additionally to my posting, and
, Graeme was right, it's in fact a SUN bug. It seems that the new
service-based start mechanisms are having some problems with the cluster
scripts and programs...
SUN told me that this problem has been addressed already, and they're
looking forward to have a fix for it ASAP.
Meanwhile, the workaround is to use scshutdown resp. shutdown, watch the
system log(s) and use "halt" or "init 0" to shutdown the machine at the
end, when it shows the messages described below.
There's also an (internal) info-doc which describes some changes in the
.xml-files controlling the services to fix the problem, but it's not
recommended and SUN states that they don't know about any impacts on
other services etc., so, I won't use it...

Thanks to the list,

and have a nice hackin',

Harald
