Thanks to all who responded. I was assuming the same myself in that UDP protocols cannot be wrappered using the Solaris9 TCPWRAPPERS. The reason i was confused was i was reading a readme from sunfreeware, after searching for the problem, which specifically said tftpd was supported. I guess this is due to it being compiled with support and the standard sol9 one wasn't. Special thanks to Ric Anderson who has given me a tftpd daemon which has access control.
