I've got a reply from WillH on communities.oracle.com:

No, unfortunately there is no way to configure two IP addresses on igb3. 
You effectively "lose" the port on the other node. So, in order to 
follow the best practice and assign a private interface to each head, 
you'll need to take another interface from the LACP group, such as igb2 
and configure that one as private also.

I will look into how we can make this more clear in the documentation.
