SUMMARY: Backup - Slightly Off Topic

As it turns out most people on this list recommended against the use of
Datacenter. The reason being for the slow backup rates on Windows servers
even with locally attached tape drives. Some of the other options that I got
were Legato Networker and Trivoli.

Hi all, 

We are looking to expand our backup coverage to include our Sun servers on a
single 20 tape filer. As it stands we're running Veritas BackupExec on
windows 2000 with the filer. I have read about the Netbackup Datacenter
solution, but have heard some bad reports. 

Basically I'm just looking for some more feedback from the field .... so any
is welcome.
